Ellen Started A Twitter Thread Asking People To Share Awkward Messages They’ve Sent To Their Boss And It’s Hilarious!
Anybody who has seen Ellen’s show would agree that she is, in fact, awesome. And anyone who hasn’t seen her show, must probably have heard enough about her to know that she is awesome. And I say this, because she has a way of invoking the most interesting conversations on the most interesting topics ever. The recent one being about finding out whether or not people have ever accidentally messaged their bosses thinking it was someone else. Ellen Degeneres of The Ellen Show took to Twitter yesterday to share, “Have you ever thought you were texting your significant other or friend, and accidentally ended up texting your boss?! We want to see your text exchange! #SorryBoss.”And started the train by posting a thread of a person who was one up than others already, by accidentally sending his boss a message that was also about him. Others caught on to the trending hashtag and what followed was a series of tweets that have definitely kept us engaged for the major part of the morning.

And while there were many #SorryBoss stories to read and get entertained by, there were also many stories about the boss accidentally having texted the employees. And I have to admit, never has an innocent human error as such amused me so much. It honestly made me recall my own very embarrassing story, for when I texted my senior manager about the pleasant things I wrote about him in the annual anonymous review. And for some reason, telling him that it was a very planned joke, didn’t seem to convince him enough.
Anyhow, so the relatability with this thread wasn’t just high, it felt personal!
