6 Cool Ways To Use A Q tip For More Than Just Cleaning Out Your Ears!

We honestly think the humble Q tip doesn’t get its due. It’s found in every household, has multiple uses (many, many more than cleaning out your ears!) doesn’t occupy much space and is very economical.  This tiny little bud of cotton on a stick is much more than a hygiene essential and it needs some credit. But may be all its various uses are not common knowledge. Don’t worry, wea are letting you in on 6 awesome hacks that will ensure you use a Q-tip to its’ maximum capacity.

1. Use it as a nail art tool

You can do your own manicure from the comforts of you home with just a Q-tip and some polish. There are endless designs you can do with a Q-tip but this one is super cute, easy, and do-able even for a nail art newbie!

2. Clean up eyeliner smudges with precision

If, like me, you struggle with getting one winged eyeliner to match the other side, allow the Q tip to come to the rescue! Dip the Q-tip in makeup remover and fix those pesky liners of liner. You’ll look like a makeup professional at the end of it.

3. Remove kajal from waterline

No matter what makeup remover you use, getting that last bit of kajal out off your waterline is extremely difficult, but this is where a Q-tip will save your day. Drench your Q tip with makeup remover and gently get rid of all the kajal.

4. Root touch-up between salon appointments

Use an eyeshadow to cover grown out roots with the help of a Q-tip between your salon appointments. Take a black shadow, then cover the greys by dotting in temporary colour into place.

5. Remove eyelash glue off of your fake eye lashes

Re-use those expensive eyelashes by cleaning them up with a Q-tip and some alcohol. Now go and buy the Huda lashes without an ounce of guilt.

6. Clean off expensive leather

Take some petroleum jelly or Vaseline on a Q-tip to buff away the scuffs on leather bags, heels, purses, etc. This will clean away all the marks and save you some time and money as well.
