Ayushmann Khurrana Is Pooja In This New Song From Dream Girl And It Will Leave You In Splits!

The National Award winning star Ayushmann Khurrana is geared up to deliver in yet another hit with his promising character in his next film, Dream Girl, alongside Nushrat Barucha. The movie’s trailer created a huge buzz, it was fun to see Ayushmann playing a local Sita in the Ramayan who goes on to become Pooja, who works at a call centre, get this, dedicated to sex.  Ayushmann Khurrana’s offbeat films are one of the reasons we are willing to step out of houses and actually go out. Because we are promised good, fun-filled wholesome entertainment.  The movie also stars Vijay Raaz, Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh, Sumona Chakravarti in pivotal roles and is slated to release on September 13, 2019!

Earlier the makers of the film came out with the first song, Radhe Radhe, which is entirely a festive song. The song will definitely make you want to hit the dance floor! Now Ayushmann Khurrana as Pooja is all set to tickle your funny bone with the second song, Dil Ka Telephone. The quirky song, Dil Ka Telephone has been composed by Meet Bros. The lyrics are written by Lumaar and the song is sung by Jonita Gandhi, Nakash Aziz. Dil Ka Telephone adds an important part to the plot of the film and we love how hilarious it is!

Dream Girl is helmed by Raaj Shaandilya, who gave us some really interesting and fun details about the song, which brought out the idea of Ayushmann’s role, “The song fits perfectly well in the narrative. Ayushmann’s character; who lands a job in a female friendship call centre, talks to his listeners as Pooja, resolving their daily problems and becoming their virtual friend. While interacting with the callers, one of them asks Pooja to sing, that’s when Ring Ring comes into play. We wanted them (the song’s composers Meet Bros and lyricist Kumaar) to come up with the track that has fun lyrics and at the same time conveys the film’s story,” said Raaj.

Earlier, Ayushmann Khurrana shared a sneak peek of the song on Instagram, which got fans excited! He wrote, “Is connection mein kaafi cross connection ki sambhavna hai! #DilKaTelephone song out today!”
