Deepika’s ’73 Questions with Vogue’ Was Basic For Indian Audiences But Here’s What We Learned
Deepika Padukone, the only woman in recent times that can really claim the superstar status, with an enviable body of work from Padmaavat to XXX- Return of Xander Cage and Bajirao Mastani has been in the news for all the right reasons. First, for one of the most fiercely guarded but most anticipated weddings to take place. Then to celebrate her success for being in the Forbes Top 100 influential people list as well as making herself some space in 2019 April issue of Vogue along with Scarlett Johansson and Korean Actress Doona Bae, that celebrated global talent spread across 14 countries. Basically, she’s a one woman army busy making India proud.
The actress that looks gorgeous while doing everything from being a bride to acting in movies to even eating a grape, just did a ’73 Questions with Vogue’ interview and we, like loyal fans and borderline stalkers were all eyes and ears for it. Of course, there was a very international perspective to the questions, meant for people to discover the actress (you know, for those who don’t know her. Like both of them) but for the Indian audiences like us who love #DeepVeer the insights into her life weren’t that many. Honestly, it was kind of basic and we wish they had scratched more than just the surface.
We did get to know a few things. For example, that she can karaoke to any Mariah Carey song and is guilty of googling herself,. While it seems like there wasn’t anything earth-shattering, here are some other interesting facts we found out about the Padmaavat actress:
When asked what was a life-changing moment for the ace actress, she accredited the movie Cocktail as the turning and the most crucial point in her career. It was the same movie that won her several nominations and awards under the Best Actress category.

Deepika Padukone, if given a chance to travel with anyone in the world, dead or alive, chose Princess Diana as a travel buddy and would love to take her to India to make her walk around the streets and make her eat Indian food. We would want to be party to this trip.

After a long tiring day at work, which we assume comes too often for her, she loves to get dinner and binge-watch. Currently binge-watching the show Ozark, Deepika seems to be just like us Besties alert!
