Deepika Padukone Said Her Personal Equation With Ranveer Singh Won’t Have Any Role To Play In ’83
Deepika Padukone is a director’s actor and is currently everyone’s favourite artist to work with. Deepika Padukone is best paired with hubby Ranveer Singh a number of times and fans can’t stop gushing over the two. The adorable duo have stunned the audience with their chemistry in all the films they’ve worked together in. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will be next seen in Kabir Khan’s upcoming directorial, ‘83 and the film will also be marked as their first film after their fairytale wedding in 2018. Ranveer Singh will play the role of the veteran cricketer Kapil Dev and the Cocktail actress will seen essaying the character of his wife, Romi Bhatia.

While the two back will be back on our screen, it’s certainly not like real life will turn up on reel. Deepika cleared that her personal equation with Ranveer Singh won’t reflect in ’83. “As actors, you don’t think about your personal equations while doing a film. You are fully focused on the moment and the character. You cease to exist as the person you are and only live the character that you are playing. Our personal equation won’t have any role to play in this film,” she said.
Deepika Padukone revealed that she is in awe of Romi’s personality and love the way she conducts herself. The Piku actor also spent some time Romi to know her better and to do justice to the character. “I feel so inspired every time I meet her. She has an extremely refreshing energy, is intelligent, knowledgeable, and funny,” Deepika told Mumbai Mirror. Speaking on what she likes about Romi, she adds, “I like her candour. Romiji is someone who is extremely honest and when she needs to express herself, she does it with a lot of dignity. I like the way she conducts herself with so much grace.”
The actor wasbspecifically drawn towards the role Romi played in Kapil’s success. She said, “At the end of day, for any champion, the drive, commitment and dedication must come from within. But yes, having a solid support system is important as it allows the person to work without holding back, without any kind of emotional burden. In that sense, Romi ji has played an extremely important part in Kapil Dev’s success. In a way, I think this has also helped him stay grounded. These characteristics are very important in the journey to success.”
Apart from ’83, Deepika Padukone will be seen in the Meghna Gulzar directorial, Chhapaak. The film will hit the theatres on January 10, 2020. Along with acting Deepika Padukone is also looking forward to producing films!
