Deepika Padukone Is Building Herself Up

Deepika Padukone is in the British capital currently and like all tourists, Madame Tussauds is on her list as well. However, unlike all other tourists, she’s not there to take pictures with other wax statues, she’s getting one of herself made. Yes! Deepika Padukone is going to get her very own wax statue at Madame Tussauds and  it will get unveiled next year.

Currently, she’s there for all the measurements and fittings. She also did a Facebook Live from there, where a visibly excited Deepika talked about the time when she stood in line to get into the museum years ago when she was visiting with her parents, and how that memory really stayed with her. She also gushed about how special this moment was for her, all the while flashing her dimples making us all fall in love again.

Deepika posted pictures on her social networks about her picking her eyeball (like actually literally picking an eyeball for her statue), getting her hair colour matched to the swatches and giving us a sneak peek into the all the excitement that happened behind the scenes.

We can’t wait for the statue to be unveiled!
