4 Reasons Why Wonder Woman’s Trailer Is Giving Us All The Feels!
Move over, Iron Man, Wonder Woman is here to kick some serious ass!
For those of you who’ve been living under a rock and were completely unaware of the release of Wonder Woman’s first official teaser over the weekend, watch it NOW (just click the video above). If you don’t, you’re going to be missing out on a whole lot of awesomeness packed into 3 minutes.
Warner Brothers released the official trailer at the San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday. And while it’s scheduled to hit theatres in June 2017, we absolutely cannot wait for it! Gal Gadot plays Wonder Woman, and she’s already giving us some major goals. But there are lots more reasons why we’re excited about this movie. To be honest, we’d go watch it multiple times just for Gadot. Here are 4 reasons why the Wonder Woman trailer is making us breathless with anticipation!
1. Gal Gadot.
Duh! I challenge you to take one look at her in her costume and not drool. Gal Gadot looks hotter than ever in her signature red, blue and gold costume and will give you all the feels even if you’re a totally straight woman. I for one am going to enjoy watching her power-packed performance on screen.
2. It’s NOT A SuperHERO Movie
When was the last time you watched a movie where a woman was the only superhero — the only one doing all the saving and the fighting? Yeah, thought as much! While Wonder Woman did make her first appearance in Batman vs Superman, Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman is completely woman-centric and that sure has us excited.
3. She Is Multi-Faceted
Gal Gadot’s character is both fierce and vulnerable, or that’s what the director says. She is bold and fierce when it comes to fighting her enemies but at the same time, is loving and nurturing when it comes to personal relationships. She has the heart of a woman and the strength of a goddess, as Gadot said during Comic-Con. In a nutshell, she’s just like any woman out there. We can all be her!
4. It Celebrates 75 Years Of The Character
Can you believe that this powerful character has been around for so long? I’m so glad that Wonder Woman is finally getting her moment in the sun on the big screen now. For years now, she has been an extremely underrated part of DC’s collection of superheroes. This film marks the celebration of 75 years of her legacy, and I’m sure that this means that the director has truly created a blockbuster.
