With each passing day, web series are becoming more popular, and with good reason. Last month, The Little Things won our hearts, and this month, we have another crazy show called The Trip to do that job.
The Trip looks fun, fresh, and extremely well executed. What adds to this is the fact that 4 extremely talented women are in the leads. The dynamic Lisa Haydon (Shonali), internet sensation Mallika Dua (Nazia), TV actresses Shweta Tripathi (Ananya), and Sapna Pabbi (Sanjana) will be seen going on a roadtrip from Delhi to Thailand for a bachelorette do. Sounds clichéd? Yes, but who cares — they are hot, cute, and have the power to make a 15-minute episode go viral. Joining the girl gang is actor Namik Paul, who will be playing Lisa Haydon’s love interest in the show.
The show deals with the girls’ friendship and how relationships grow. They deal with love, break ups, and everything that the youth connects with. It is relateable because each one of us is either of the 4 characters — strong and independent Shonali, or the fun, harmless bully Nazia. Starting on December 15, this 13-episode series on Bindass promises to make your new year a happy one. So, all set to watch magic on the digital screen with your BFFs?
