Parineeti Chopra Celebrated Independence Day On 16 August And Got Trolled For It. Come On, She Had It Coming
Parineeti Chopra is in the news for many, many reasons right now. Her movie just released, she’s been out and about on her promotional tours, she’s been flaunting all kinds of outfits and then she’s said and done some very questionable things. Like this time when she said that actresses in Bollywood don’t get paid nearly enough as the men but they make it up with endorsements and commercials. There’s putting your foot in the mouth and then there is shoving the entire leg into your mouth and Parineeti did just that with that comment. Of course, now she’s just going downhill with her social media. That’s because while the whole of India was celebrating Independence Day yesterday, including all the stars, she uploaded a video today. And of course, the netizens didn’t let that slide. Because why would you let it go peacefully?

In the video she uploaded, Parineeti Chopra and rumoured beau Charit Desai are spotted underwater hoisting the national flag. The video looked amazing and unique and most of the users were appreciative of Parineeti Chopra’s post. Because aesthetically, it looked good. Parineeti Chopra wrote, “Happy Independence Day! we hoisted our flag a little differently back in May @charitdesai #ChinmayaSharma #RakeshScuba.”
On the other hand, there were people who were less than impressed with her really bad timing. It can’t be difficult to get a date right and if it’s a video you have had for a while, it only makes sense to use it on the correct day, right?
Of course, some people were abusive about this late upload and some people decided to make fun of her. Either way, she didn’t have any respite. But what do you expect?
