#HauteSounds: Lady Gaga’s Perfect Illusion Music Video Is One For The Dance Floors!
Popstar Lady Gaga is back with another music video. Directed by fashion photographer Ruth Hogben, this music video will get your adrenaline pumping. You’re going to want to hit the dance floor before it’s even time to!
Perfect Illusion is the first single from Gaga’s upcoming album, Joanne. The album title is a tribute to her aunt Joanne, who died at the early age of 19 and is slated for an October 21 release this year.
Everything in this video happens so fast, you’ve got to keep your eyes peeled for fear of missing out. The unsteady camera moves and judders as though a crazy fan were holding it up at a Gaga concert. It’s dizzying, to say the least! Lady Gaga, in denim cut-offs, a black tee, and a messy pony tail, is a far cry from the star we’ve known in Bad Romance and Paparazzi. It’s almost as though she wants the music and the vocals to be the focus here. She gets off a jeep in the desert, grabs a microphone, and sings her heart out. Eventually, she teams up with the co-producers of the song, Mark Ronson, Kevin Parker and BloodPop.
We guarantee that you will lose yourself in the music just as Gaga does, on screen. Her energy in the video is infectious and the visuals are fast-paced — you’ll be pumping to the beats along with her. We have no doubt that this will be topping the charts and will become a dance-floor favourite in no time.
While some fans aren’t too thrilled with this track we suggest you check it out for yourself. Groovy, innit?
