Yes, you can ask your friend to stop pinching you. The news is true! With the Harry Potter and The Cursed Child breaking worldwide records of being the fastest-selling script, and the first movie in the Fantastic Beasts series out in November, Potterheads truly are enjoying all the Pottermania.

Pottermore, the website started by Rowling, will be releasing these e-books on September 6. Pottermore Presents is a series of three e-books of short stories that will dwell into the history of Hogwarts. It will outline certain characters that have not been shown the limelight till now, like the potions teacher Horace Slughorn and Professor Minerva McGonagall. Each book is around 10,000 words long with information that is bound to make every Harry Potter fan dance with joy. Plus, the inside scoop is that one of the books also tells us what Rowling really thinks about the shrewd minister, Dolores Umbridge. I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait to read these gems!

The first e-book, Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide, as the name suggests, dives into the history of the wizarding school. From what happens if the sorting hat doesn’t work to the lives of the Hogwarts ghosts, there is a little bit of everything here.

Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Political and Pesky Poltergeists takes you into the deep dark secrets of the infamous prison, Azkaban. It also has all new writings about the Horace Slughorn and the various obstacles faced by the Ministry of Magic. It is going to be one amazing read!

The last one is dedicated to the hidden heroes, to the cheerful staff of Hogwarts. Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies takes you inside the lives of Minerva McGonagall and the Care of Magical Creatures teacher Silvanus Kettleburn.

The books will be available on Pottermore and on other online book-selling platforms like Amazon.
