#HauteSounds: Forever Country’s Music Video Sees The BIGGEST Collaboration Ever!

If you’re a fan of country music, raise your hand! Better yet, pump those fists in the air because boy, are you in for a treat. Before I get into it, I’d just like you to imagine…imagine what it would feel like to have the crème de la crème of your favourite music genre together on screen. They’re ALL sharing screen space as they sing in their beautiful voices. Clear picture? Now, imagine it actually happening and you have the Forever Country music video!

Oh, yes! A whopping total of 30 country singers have come together for this mashup. It includes John Denver’s Take Me Home, Country Roads, Willie Nelson’s On The Road Again and Dolly Parton’s I Will Always Love You. This music video was released as a celebration of the 50th Annual Country Music Association Awards. The video is filmed against graphically generated bright and beautiful landscapes, which will tumble and change as you watch. But I’ll bet that it’s the singers you’ll be glued to!

Speaking of which, the video features an impressive array of artists including Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, and more. Even Randy Travis, who is still recovering from his stroke in 2013, makes a (non-vocal) appearance. Directed by Grammy winner Joseph Kahn, the vocals have been seamlessly woven together by producer and songwriter Shane McAnally.

The entire mashup is a treat for every listener, as it combines several classics and turns it into a single that’s sure to climb to the top of the charts. It’ll transport you to dreamy faraway lands — the music is that beautiful. Well, if there’s another song you need to add to your road trip playlist, it’s this one!

Once you’re done watching the music video, you can check out the behind-the-scenes footage below.
