Deepika Padukone Showing Her ID Proves She’s Humble. Bollywood Could Learn So Much From Her!

By  |

Fame can change you. Make you feel entitled. And like you are above everyone else. And everything else. Even if it’s the law. We know of several actors and actresses who dodge FIRs and cases because, well, they are celebrities. Thankfully, not everyone thinks like that. One of the most liked actresses in Bollywood, Deepika Padukone chooses to remain humble even though she’s at the peak of her career. The actress who just got done with shooting her most awaited film, Chhapaak was seen heading towards the airport on Friday night. While Deepika was entering the airport the on duty airport security stopped the actress and asked her to show her ID. Okay, that’s out of the ordinary…who wouldn’t recognize the actress?

Deepika Padukone, who didn’t hear the security at first time, turned back after the security guard repeated himself. The Padmavat actress then politely responded to the security and asked, “Chahiye? ,” as she started to dig it out from her handbag. Deepika then showed her ID to the security and walked ahead to board her flight. The actress’s polite gesture has taken over the internet by storm, and her fans are praising her for being humble. It is rare for a celebrity to react the same way. We could all learn from her about humility and how to not use the celebrity card.

Deepika Padukone gave us another reason to admire and love her and we are not complaining! In a country like ours, where Bollywood actresses are treated like goddesses practically, Deepika’s behaviour sets an example and a fabulous one at that. To put things into perspective, people like Salman Khan have constantly not turned up in court despite summons. Our respect for the law of the land should be of paramount importance and we are glad Deepika is taking the lead.

On the professional front, Deepika recently wrapped up shooting for Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak which is based on acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal’s life. In the film we will see Deepika in the role of Malti and the film  is slated to release on January 10, 2020. Deepika will also be a part of Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film ’83. Ranveer will play ace cricketer Kapil Dev in the film, while Deepika will play Dev’s wife, Romi. We are excited to see the two onscreen after the success of their film Padmaavat.
