The Trailer For Taapsee Pannu-Starrer Badla Is Out And It’s An Edge-Of-The-Seat Entertainer

The trailer for Badla starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu is out and this is the one movie to watch out for, this March. The duo, that previously appeared in Aniruddha Roy’s film Pink, that was a social thriller, set the screen on fire with that one and we enjoyed their conversations in that movie tremendously. We are hoping Badla picks up from where Pink left off!

Seems like the two have found what works best for them.  The trailer starts with Amitabh Bachchan’s voiceover in the background, where he says, “Badla lena har baar sahi nahi hota, lekin maaf kar dena bhi har baar sahi nahi hota” and eases us into the idea for the film. It then takes us through the life of Taapsee who has been accused of a murder. Enter – Senior Bachchan, acing his role as Taapsee’s lawyer, who struggles to uncover the layers and versions of truth laid out in front of him. The intrigues and the plot thickens and if the trailer is anything to go by, we have an engaging thriller on our hands.

For the most part, we are glad to see Taapsee back in her strong suit like her role in Naam Shabana and we hope she brings her A game with Bollywood’s favourite Bachchan. Produced by Red Chillies entertainment, this movie is set to hit the screens on March 8, 2019. We can’t be the only ones hoping for an SRK cameo, right?
