Alia Says Silence Is Her Stance On Kangana And Her Sister’s Digs. We Think That’s Really Cool
With this article, I think it would be safe to say that we can have an entire new category devoted to the infamous Kangana-Alia feud. In a quick catch up, the war of words started when Kangana voiced her displeasure over Alia not supporting her then released film, Manikarnika.
We kept waiting to find out what the actual fuel to the growing fire was, but apparently there was none. Although, we do think it was all a ploy to create hype for Kangana’s upcoming movie, Mental Hai Kya, which goes perfectly along with her actions.
And then, if Kangana’s digs at calling Alia’s work mediocre were not enough, her sister Rangoli Chandel jumped in and attacked Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt for not treating her sister right on the sets and slammed Randeep Hooda, in rather low blow in a series of tweets when he tried to take a stand for Alia.

Alia, during all of this, emerged out wiser than her years as she calmly dealt with the ongoing comments, not losing her cool even once. So when she was probed to comment on Rangoli’s lash out, Alia handled it in the most perfect and dignified manner of all. She said, “If I am like this, then my family is ten times more mature and stronger than I am. I don’t want to get into this. I want to be happy, positive, work hard and be a better version of myself every day.”
She further went on to comment, “I should not pay attention to what people say or don’t say. Everybody has the right to say what they want to. I will be quiet, that’s my stand.” And this is exactly why we love the Gully Boy actress. Because she doesn’t just please us on-screen but never fails to inspire us off-screen as well.
As for Kangana and the sister, maybe now they’ll realise they are not going to get anything out of probing Alia on this one.
