A Thai MP Was Caught Watching Porn In Parliament. He Was Doing It Because He Was Worried About The Girl

I’ve never been to the parliament mostly because I have no business being there. Unless of course, a bunch of people decided to put their misplaced faith in my ability to steer their lives to a better future. I haven’t been to parliament but I imagine it’s a lot like school where the proceedings can get pretty boring, pretty quick. And while you can pass around chits in school, in parliament, that may be seen as juvenile. We imagine this was the exact thought going through this guys’ mind because this Thai MP was caught watching porn in parliament.

This was a budget meeting and if you’re not the kind who is into number crunching, as Ronnathep Anuwat clearly isn’t, you need something to distract yourself so as to not fall asleep in the company of your august colleagues. Of course, that the press was around and clicking photographs was probably not on his mind. I mean, admittedly, the guy had nudes in his hand and that’s difficult to take your mind off. Oh, but he did take his mask off to get a better look at photos because we all know how masks impair our ability to look at pictures.

This happened in Bangkok, Thailand on Thursday. But Ronnathep Anuwat , the MP who was caught watching porn, wasn’t the kind to get rattled so easily. We thought he would have said something on the lines of, ‘Well if you were in that meeting, you would be doing something else too!’ as a defense but no, he had an excuse that…well, just doesn’t float.

You are an MP caught watching porn in parliament, what would you come up with? Ronnathep Anuwat is a good example of what you probably shouldn’t say if you want to be believed. He said that had gotten an unsolicited message from a woman (ugh, these persistent, nude sending females) who was ‘asking for help’ and ‘wanted money.’ Aah, that would make sense. Maybe she didn’t have any clothes, which would explain sending an MP pictures because that’s how you can get money and help, you know, to get yourself some basic innerwear. And I have been doing a job to make money. How basic of me.

When local media got a whiff of this, he was questioned about wha the was keenly observing and he explained (we are too simple to understand his altruistic motives) that he wanted to ‘observe the environment surrounding the girl in the picture’ and see if she was in any danger, potentially. We imagine if the girl was in danger at precisely that point, she might not be able to sexually provocative pictures of an MP to watch during a budget session but let’s not ruin the story with logic.

See, this MP was watching porn in parliament but it came from a good place. He wanted to ensure the woman in the picture was safe and not ‘being harassed by gangsters who had forced her to take the pictures’. Of course, if that was the case, since he’s such a nice guy, he would have thrown on a cape, ejected himself out of parliament and saved the girl. Oh, that sounds far fetched to you?

Anyway, there is going to be no action (pun intended) taken against him because it’s a personal matter and there are no rules against having erections in parliament. We really think that should be a rule though.
