Shilpa Shetty Has A Fitness App And Her Husband Was Her Guinea Pig!
Health and wellness is an important space for people, especially in times like this, when crazy ambition and raking in the monies has taken precedence over everything. From having to sit at our desks all day long, to eating unhealthy on the daily, exercise, nutrition and basic healthy habits have not just taken a back seat, they’ve been shoved in the back of the trunk.
And so, it is normal to not have time for fancy memberships at the gym, because we all know the money is just going to go in vain, and the guilt of not being regular is going to end up eating at us. But, seems like Shilpa Shetty has found a way around it and given us just the kind of motivation we need to get off our lazy behinds and do what can be, in the comfort of our own home.
Shilpa, the global star who rose to fame with her performances in Bollywood, really catapulted into superstardom with her win in the Big Brother house. But what’s hard to miss really is how fit this actress is. The kind of abs she has can make you put down the french fries and actually get you to move. So it only makes sense that she should launch a fitness app of her own. A one of a kind woman, giving us millennials some hard body goals even at the age of 43, there couldn’t have been a better endorser for this initiative.

My 8 week Challenge…WARNING-what you are about to see may be disturbing 😂😂 So I would like to start by thanking My gorgeous girlfriend @theshilpashetty who really stands for what she preaches! A healthy lifestyle! Your body is made in the kitchen not in the gym! She has taken care of my diet and motivated me year after year. But honestly hearing her sounded like a nag and I never took it seriously but having the privilege of seeing her videos she had created for her app and using those exercise and diet regimes has done wonders for me! I am not here to promote my wife’s app but to show you real results as I am the first guinea pig who is less of a pig now 🙂 the results above are proof and for all those that followed me on Instagram for the past 8 weeks have seen the progress with time. It’s taken me 9 years to get motivated to lead a healthy lifestyle to give up sugar to cut down on alcohol to make the right food choices. It all boils down to ONE thing your mind over your body! Your mind tends to give up before your body but if you can control your mind half the battle is won! I would like to thank the people in Shilpa’s team who have pushed me to limits I never knew I could reach namely @thevinodchanna he is a beast in the gym and doesn’t take no for an answer! It’s all possible friends and trust me if someone like me with a hectic lifestyle, a world traveller and a complete foodie can dedicatedly do it then you all can! All you need is a little bit of motivation I got mine from the SSK app who knows it may even work for you. All the best on this beautiful wellness journey my 8 weeks are over the results have inspired me to make this a way of life I am not missing anything I am eating well and at 43 my next goal is a six pack!! Set targets, tell yourself you can do it and then fight against your mind and win win win!! (Yeah it sounds easier when typing 😂 ) but what have you got to lose….just some weight! Make your wife, girlfriend, son, family, friends and above all the person in the mirror proud of you!! #SwastRahoMastRaho #healthylifestyle #fitness #SwipeRight for before & after picture and don’t forget to download the Shilpa Shetty app now!
For all those, who by this point are in serious contemplation of whether or not this app will actually fetch them results, we present to you Raj Kundra, the husband of Shilpa Shetty and in his own words is “her first guinea pig”, whose 8 week transformation cannot be missed. He goes on to enumerate how his life is changed since he started following the advice that Shilpa Shetty gives out. He’s pretty gung ho about the whole thing. I would be too if Shilpa Shetty was giving me advice. Which, through this app, she is. So yay. Now only if I could follow through on it.
The app has various chapters and sections catering to nutrition tips, workout videos and more. The Shilpa Shetty app has been made available on iOS from May 6. The android version launched on June 8.
