Just like every person in the country, Bollywood has had a major impact on me. What I wear, the way I style my hair, even to what I eat sometimes has been influenced by movies and celebrities (if stars are vouching for it, it must be right, is a very common mindset). Now more than ever, with the exponential growth of social media, celebrities have not only turned into influencers but trail blazers of sorts not only in fashion but travel, social campaigns and of course, fitness. They always look picture perfect right? I have always wondered what they do to have a body like that and now thanks to Instagram we have the answer in the form of their workout sessions, And while they give us major fitness goals, do we have the guts to follow in their steps?
The biggest difficulty of working out is not the workout itself but the self-motivation that goes into dragging yourself to the gym. Yeah we’ve all been there. But then there we are sitting on the bed like fat lumps scrolling through instafeeds when see Deepika Padukone doing a high intensity workout session. Doesn’t that make you guilty as hell and make you want toump out of bed and run to the gym instead of putting it off until tomorrow? It should.
Everyday we see celebrities like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Malaika Arora, Janhvi Kapoor or even Disha Patni papped heading to the gym, a pilates class, or even yoga. Yes, these guys do have celebrity trainers like Yasmin Karachiwala or Namrita Purohit but that doesn’t mean you can’t be inspired by them and head to your local gym or even just for a jog.
