Disha Patani Lost Her Memory Due To An Injury But Her Advice About Breaking Bones To Reach Somewhere Is Wrong

When we talk about Disha Patani, all we can think of is her super fit body. Disha Patani is definitely one of the most fittest actresses in Bollywood right and not only that, the actress is constantly pushing and taking fitness to the next level. Her Instagram is filled with her workout videos and her trying a backflip and all that and we are seriously reconsidering our fitness levels. Disha Patani is also receiving tons of appreciation for her short but impactful role in Bharat for which the actress had to go through a lot of physical training.

Speaking of fitness and stunts, Disha Patani also got knee injured while gearing up for her role in the film. Disha trains hard with her MMA trainer and is able to do most stunts by herself. In a recent chat with Mid-Day, Disha Patani revealed that once she was injured while training on concrete floors and had sustained a hard hit to her head. This resulted in memory loss for 6 months. The Bharat actress opened up about this and mentioned that she lost out on time in those months!

Talking about her injury Disha said, “I lost six months of my life because I couldn’t remember anything.” But even this didn’t make Disha stop from doing gymnastics or MMA, Disha’s approach towards her fitness has never changed and if this is not inspiration, we don’t know what is! She mentioned that breaking bones is a part of the process. She said, “When I am not shooting, I alternate between practising gymnastics and MMA in the week. MMA is relatively easier. But for gymnastics, you have to be both, consistent and brave. It has taken me a while to reach where I am. You have to do it every day. Only when you break your bones and knees do you reach somewhere.”

Erm, we don’t entirely agree with the last statement. When you are training with someone responsible, wouldn’t one of the key things be to not to injure yourself? This could be the wrong message to people who might be tempted to pull up more weight because let’s break a few things, right? Yeah, that could be a problem.

On the movies front, Disha Patani is gearing up for her next film, Malang alongside Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunal Kemmu and Anil Kapoor. The movie is helmed by Mohit Suri and is slated to release in 2020.
