Alia’s journey began as an immature girl in Karan Johar’s Student of The Year and she was only 19 at the time! Her goofy personality and talent earned her an instant fan following. However, Highway, her second movie is what made her competitors sit up and take notice. Alia is really grateful for the success she has seen in her career, and calls Karan Johar her mentor. With her candidness and talent, Alia has set the bar high. Her role in Raazi proved that she has mastered the art of stepping into any character effortlessly!

Before grabbing eyeballs with her acting skills, dance moves, and bubbly personality in her debut film, Alia was overweight and had to go through a major weight loss transformation before she made her Bollywood debut. She lost 16 kg in 3 months and there was no looking back for the leading actress. If this is not dedication, then what is?
Along with a healthy diet, Alia also works out rigorously. She enjoys doing Pilates and weight training. Her routine may or may not help you achieve the same results, as we all have different different body types, but her transformation is definitely inspirational! Alia has reached a level of fitness, where she is able to do 300 squats in about 7 minutes and that is a goal in itself. Her workout includes heavy weight training, functional training, yoga, flexibility training and more. Alia’s trainer rotates these different workouts, which is why the actress looks so impeccable!

Shooting nights can be very tiring for the body cause of the way it messes with your natural body clock.. I woke up today feeling so so exhausted.. But after monkeying around and doing some intense pilates, my energy level just shot up. The mind and body coordination during a pilates workout is like meditation for me.. If you miss even one beat of focus everything can go totally off.. And ofcourse don't miss my beautiful trainer @yasminkarachiwala in the background with her soft but strict instructions 😂😇💙
Alia Bhatt’s diet plan
Alia consumes 6 to 8 meals a day, which include a source of protein, healthy fats, veggies, fruits, and fresh fruit juices. She only opts for organic food. “I make it a point to have eight meals a day. That way, I can limit my portion sizes and food gets digested easily. This diet has worked for me,” said Alia in an interview.
The actress does have a sweet tooth, and loves Pooja Dhingra’s Le 15 Patisserie as well as Chef Kelvin Cheung’s delectable cakes. Nevertheless, she’s quit most of her favourite food and now consumes lots of greens and protein. Alia is a vegetarian and prefers to consume vegan sources of protein!
On the professional front, Alia Bhatt will be seen in Brahmastra alongside Ranbir Kapoor whom she is currently dating.
