This Hue Of Orange Will Be The ‘It’ Colour For Fall 2018

There was a time when our Instagram feeds and timelines were filled with pretty outfits and decor in the soothing pastel shade of Millennial Pink, followed by which our timelines were hit by rays of sunshine all thanks to the ‘it’ Spring-Summer 2018 trend of Gen-Z yellow. As we are moving towards fall, we are leaning towards warmer and cosier hues, and the colour gods have announced that ‘Terracotta’ will be all the rage in these colder months.

Now even though the colour belongs to the orange family, it does not have the zest and fearful brightness that washes you out, or swallows your complexion. Terracotta is a slightly more burnt and muddier shade of orange. To put things simply, it is a mature take on orange. It is the shade of dried leaves, cinnamon, rust, and brick, so the colour easily blends in with the fall season.
