Tara Sutaria And Sara Ali Khan Wear The Same Dress In Completely Different Ways, But We Have A Favourite!
Here’s something you did not know, Sara Ali Khan and Tara Sutaria occasionally share a stylist! The young actresses have a vastly different sense of personal style, and stylist Lakshmi Lehr knows how to bring out the best in them. While Tara seems to favour the girly vibe with ruffled tops and slip dresses, Sara is most comfortable in her signature summer kurtis.

For a recent magazine shoot, Tara donned a deliciously snug lime green dress from Swapnil Shinde that looked perfectly at home on the curvy actress.

The asymmetric dress features a high slit, spaghetti strapped plunge neck and a deep back that is all kinds of sexy. Tara’s shoot ensemble was completed with matching stilettos and a big ring in the name of accessories. We love this stripped down version of the dress!

Sara, on the other hand, was styled in stacked Masai-themed jewellery, a cinch belt and jacket with the same lime green dress.

While Sara herself looks fresh-faced and beautiful, this edited version of the dress is not something we can get on board with. Too many additions took away the bodacious nature of the dress, making it leaner and less charming.

The particular photoshoot was part of a series of pictures Sara clicked for Filmfare, which garnered a lot of criticism online, calling it cultural appropriation.
We personally loved Tara’s minimal and original styling of the dress. Sometimes, too much accessorising and customising can go south, even if it’s done on a pretty dress!
On a side note, we can’t help but mention the growing popularity of lime green. This colour was ushered in with the neon trend and is taking over pretty much all aspects of celebrity fashion. From the red carpet to promotional looks, this colour is pretty exciting right now!
