Taapsee Pannu Looks Like A Pastel Sorbet In This Outfit

By  |

While most of us find our safe haven in an all-black outfit and monotone looks (Hint: me), seeing actresses and fashionistas all over the world wear a burst of colours and nailing it, is always a refreshing sight. Most trends go in and out, only few are able to withstand the test of time and endure beyond a season. Colour blocking is a trend that has been quite the rage, and has proven to be a celebrity favourite.

While the trend is bold, vibrant and bright, not everyone can ace wearing differing tones. However, if not done right, it can end up looking like a terrible disaster. Seen embracing and acing this trend was Taapsee Pannu, at a recent event.

She wore a cord-set by designer Sameer Madan who is known to play with colours in his designs. His spring-summer 2018 collection is called “The Sameer Madan Ice Cream Company” which is inspired by the hues of a gelato.

Taapsee’s cord set included a colourful, cropped bomber jacket, a yellow bodysuit and white shorts. She styled the look with minimal jewellery, and a pair of white sneakers. She wore her hair in a half up, half down do, and finished the look off with a classic winged liner.

The cropped jacket was an amalgamation of yellow, millennial pink, purple, powder blue and all the colours went exquisitely well together. The mesh detail on the jacket adds a quirky touch to the look. The yellow bodysuit, was the perfect contrast in this pastel rainbow, and the white shorts drew the whole look together.

We love how she kept the styling minimal and let the jacket be the point of focus in her outfit. The colour palette of the look went seamlessly well and was easy on the eyes.

Our Verdict: Haute!
