The Nicobar X Suket Dhir Collection Goes Live Today
Peeps, this festive season, if you’re looking at gifting some dapper stuff to your better (or bitter?) half, this bit of fashion news will make a lot of you very very happy (you know, we always like well turned-out men). The new collaborative capsule launched by Nicobar, designed by 2016 Woolmark Prize winner and impeccable designer Suket Dhir, goes live today on Nicobar, and will be available at Nicobar stores in Mumbai and Delhi, as well.

Keeping the modern millennial man in mind, the collection is true to the designer’s style aesthetic — understated yet fun-loving, with a focus on old-school tailoring techniques, and precision to detail. Talking about this collection, Suket said, “While designing this collection, my design process was as seamless as when I’m designing my own line. Nicobar’s vibe flowed effortlessly and naturally to me.”

The versatile line in earthy and autumnal shades comprises a collection of shirts, kurtas, Nehru jackets, and relaxed pants. Lightweight cotton, washed denim, and linen is teamed with muted patterns and prints with Suket’s signature single-threaded button, making this collection intrinsic for both work and festive wear. The classic silhouettes give the pieces a timeless appeal, ones that you can actually wear for years to come.

Nicobar is a contemporary design label that was launched by Good Earth earlier this year. While they launched with women’s clothing, home, and travel collections, the men’s range was launched last May. The Nicobar X Suket collab is a feather in its cap. Affordable, wearable, and with Suket’s inimitable design flair, this is definitely gonna be a good buy for bae this festive season.
