Sophie Turner Just Shared Details Of Her Wedding Dress And We Dug Out All The Deets About The Wedding
Looks like Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas finally caved in and had a big fancy wedding after all! The couple had an impromptu wedding in Las Vegas last month, which people only knew about because of DJ Diplo’s Instagram live streams. While we do think a sudden Vegas wedding is super cool (who doesn’t want to get married by an Elvis impersonator!) a romantic fairytale ceremony does tie up any and all loose ends. It is important to let parents have their ‘shaadi party’ for us, even if you are rich, independent celebrities!

The first look of the ceremony came from Sophie herself, who posted a picture of the two on the aisle with the caption, “Mr and Mrs Jonas”.

The Private Ceremony
The couple, who have been dating since 2017, managed the impossible task to keep the wedding lowkey. From the beautiful setting in South Of France to gorgeous lace wedding dress, the details came directly from them. Much like Priyanka Chopra’s wedding, everything about the wedding was a hush-hush affair. We might have a clue as to how they managed to keep this under wraps. According to Diplo himself, guests were asked to let go of their phones at the wedding. He put up just one shot of himself with the caption, “This is the only photo I got from Joe and Sophie Turner Jonas wedding because they took my phone from me and put in a holding cell during the ceremony. Heard it was lovely tho” (sic)

The Dress
Upgrading from her sexy Bevza jumpsuit (we loved it so!) to a full-fledged traditional white lace wedding dress, Sophie was a resplendent bride. The dress was revealed by Louis Vuitton’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière, who captioned the post “Absolut beauty”. The French fashion house seems to have been on Sophie’s wishlist for a while. “I love the way he sees women,”, Sophie once confessed. She elaborated, “His clothes are like the characters I gravitate towards: warrior women. They are strong and empowering but also beautifully feminine.” This is such a Sophie thing to do, we think. Her role as Sansa in Game Of Thrones has her playing a resilient, strong character but a warrior in her own way and a dress from a house that has the same aesthetic is just fitting.

The Guests
Based on the few snapshots that have been coming out in the past couple of days, the second wedding seemed to be a private event. Except they had more family and friends coming in as compared to the Vegas wedding. The entire Jonas clan was obviously there in their element. Priyanka Chopra Jonas was a sexy bridesmaid in her silk satin thigh-high slit gown. Reports have claimed fellow Game Of Thrones star and BFF Maisie Williams was also in attendance, we wonder what quirky outfit she wore!

The Venue
Sophie and Joe took their vows in the South of France. Just outside the town of Sarrians, Château de Tourreau played host to this gorgeous wedding. Apparently, the place is available to rent on Airbnb Luxe. According to their listing, the house has been standing since the 18th century. The interiors are decorated with Provencal furniture and art, full with gilded mirrors and chandeliers. We caught an early glimpse of the place when this meme-worthy shot of Priyanka was released:

The seventeen-acre property comes with a courtyard complete with bubbling fountains, a garden, a big-ass pool with its own al fresco dining area. By the looks of it, it also has a chapel. Great location scouting, Sophie!
