We Found This Rebecca Minkoff Backpack’s Affordable Twin

We Found This Rebecca Minkoff Backpack’s Affordable Twin

There’s no denying that we love oversized handbags that store all our essentials perfectly without giving up on us. Precisely why we all have a collection of oversized bags that we’ve overused over the years, taken them to tuitions, dance classes, picnics even, until we discovered that there are actually different types of bags out there for each of our requirements. Thank you Google and online shopping for that!

There’s nothing not to love about backpacks though: They’re extremely cute, ultra chic, colourful little things that hold your basic essentials and make sure you can’t overload them at all. I love backpacks so much so that this one made it to my #HauteList last week. Tell me if I’m wrong, but a neutral bag is such a must-have for every woman’s wardrobe and men can have them too. Hey, we’re not judging!

I’ve been on the lookout for a neutral backpack bag since as long as I can remember, so when I found this one last week, I fell in love with it. I knew I had to have it, until I saw the price tag and a part of me died inside. This gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff nude backpack is priced at Rs 36,990 and those of you who can afford it, let me just say how much I’m trying not to hate you at this moment.

On a serious note, I love the detailing on this backpack, right from the front clasp to those side zips and the lovely nude pink leather just makes this one so lustworthy. After whining for a while, I was on a mission to look for something similar which was decently priced. And unlike our usual online shopping visits where we never find something we want WHEN we want to buy it, I found this Forever New backpack pretty quick.

Now tell me this isn’t a twin! Made from faux leather, this backpack has a single spacious compartment and the ditto same front clasp and zips on the front. The only difference between the two being the faux leather. Now which of the these would you go for?
