Sara Alia Khan’s Yellow Top Is Like Sunshine On A Gloomy Day
The death of the millennial pink trend was sudden but certain, when Gen-Z yellow became a popular favourite. In the past few months, we have seen several Gen-Z yellow looks! From desi looks to red carpet appearances and casual outfits, our favourite celebrities seem to be loving the hues of sunshine. Doing another yellow look, was Sara Ali Khan at the Kedarnath wrap-up party.
For the event, Sara picked a striking yellow jacket style shirt by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The top had an exaggerated Peter Pan collar with bishop sleeves that had a bit of flounce to them. The top was cropped, which gave her a chance to flaunt her toned midriff. She styled the look with distressed skinny denims. Casually tousled hair, a fresh face of minimal makeup, and yellow floral heels by Poetic License rounded her look.
While the thought behind using yellow floral shoes to match the top was a noble one, in this particular outfit, it was a fail, as it draws attention everywhere!
Sara is a pretty girl, and can easily work that bright, statement top! We wish she would have styled it with a nude pair of heels and flared denims instead. But then again, maybe that’s just us!
