Rock The Colours Of Navratri With These 9 Outfits
Festivities come with a whole lot of seasonal shopping, which makes for a great excuse to splurge on those desi collections you have been eyeing for a while now. Navratri is just around the corner and this auspicious festival begins from October 1st, and will continue for 9 days and nights. That’s 9 whole days of celebration! Did you know that each day of Navratari has a colour associated with it that’s of particular significance ? Yes. Each day has a significant Goddess that represents the day’s celebrations. That makes life a lot easier when deciding what to wear now, doesn’t it?
Ethnic wear shopping can never not be a task to shop for — I mean, it’s not as easy as buying a dress or a pair of jeans, unfortunately. And it’s even worse when you live in a city like Mumbai, where humidity takes over every fashion decision you make! Now you can either go the traditional way with a classic lehenga or saree, or you can mix it up and create a fusion style of your own. My advice is to keep with the tradition for any puja or temple visit, and give the fusioned fashion a go for when you want to party…dandiya style. Too hot to wear a full lehenga or saree? Go a little casual by wearing your choli with a pair of palazzos and throw on a dupatta!
We’ve curated a list of colours you need to wear on each day of Navratri, so don’t fret…at least for these 9 days we’ve got you covered!
