Ritu Kumar Has Launched A New Concept Store In Bangalore

Veteran designer Ritu Kumar has opened her 45th store in Bangalore this week and it’s probably her most experimental one till date. The three-floor conceptual space — showcasing her new Spring/Summer 2016 collection on Level 1 — will also play host to contemporary art curated by Renu George on Level 2 and a unique home shopping experience by Susanna Chandy Mathews and Susan George on Level 3.

The Guild building on Lavelle Road is the location for this creative coalition, and Kumar’s trademark tree of life motif, exposed brick walls, iron installations, and lavish display of wooden furniture, mark the showroom’s interiors. For the very first time, she is also offering a bridal lounge for prospective brides looking for an extravagant royal Indian look for their big day.
