Late last night, EDM fans all over the world were treated to live streams from music producer and DJ Diplo of what looked like a chapel wedding. The blurry video captured the nuptials of GoT fame Sophie Turner and 1/3rd of The Jonas Brothers, Joe Jonas. The young couple seems to have tied the knot at an impromptu wedding after the Billboard Music Awards wrapped up. Officiated by an Elvis impersonator (wait, what?), this celeb wedding is like no other we have seen before. More so since just a few months ago, a different Jonas brother got married to PeeCee in an elaborate wedding ceremony that lasted for four whole days and had more receptions than we can count.
The stark difference between Priyanka and Sophie’s wedding is a testament to how there are two kinds of brides and we can so relate!

The Dress
Priyanka got married in a one-of-a-kind Ralph Lauren Gown, full with sewn-in intimate details associated with the couple. Totalling 1,826 hours of handwork by 15 skilled artisans, this wedding gown captured magazine covers like no other.

The Venue
In classic PeeCee style, the actress chose one of Jodhpur’s royal historical landmarks, Umaid Bhawan Palace. The four-days-long festivities saw the entire existing and to-be Jonas clan go through all the rasams like literal royals.

As for Sophie and Joe, they booked the Little White Wedding Chapel’s Chapel L’Amour in Las Vegas. According to the fake Elvis, the couple had booked the venue just a week prior to their surprise wedding, an idea has of ‘party girl’ Sophie written all over it!

The Guests
It will be physically impossible for us to list the high profile guests that showed up at Priyanka’s wedding, we will run out of screen space. But just one name should be enough to hint at the scope of her ceremony… Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
