Priyanka Chopra Jonas never fails to impress us with her wit! Her Golden Globes 2020 fashion game was switched up with many surprises, all of which worked in her favour. First, she chose to wear a relatively new and lesser-known NY-based atelier made gown for the main event. This was carefully deliciously upgraded with luxe jewels, that were a gift from husband Nick Jonas, FYI. Then, she dressed down further for the after-party, in a maxi dress from a London-based contemporary clothing label that on closer inspection, is just wild!

Award show after parties is usually a very closed affair. Depending on which after-party you are heading to, or even if you’re heading to all of them, celebrities step out on their party best, ready to dance the night away wearing their sultry best. Granted it was the Golden Globes after-party, but PeeCee did not hold back from one of her favourite styles to wear, a strategically made sheer dress that gives onlookers major anxiety about slip-ups. This dress is so neatly presented on a platter of a potential malfunction, we wonder what gives Priyanka the strength to rock it under bright shutterbugs. We do like that the otherwise loose silhouette was updated to become bodycon on her, but the dress could do with a bit more jazzing up. The mint green arm candy is an ‘interesting’ touch, but we’d skip it.

The dress comes from the house of Kukhareva London and is apparently a supermodel fave when it comes to street style. According to the label, “Our Rhea Dress is insanely popular. It was requested by many celebrities’ stylists including a Kendall Jenner’s and Irina Shayk’s. This sleeveless maxi dress is made out of luxurious super-soft yarn, featuring a mock turtleneck, body-skimming silhouette and oversized flowers on intricate sheer fabric.” Although we can’t see the back, we know that it’s lined till just below the bum, with an additional floral design right on the booty. How cheeky!
