#TuesdayShoesday: 10 Pointed-Toe Heels To Slay In
Check out style archives of the chic and successful, and a constant you’d find in their wardrobe is a pair of pointed-toe heels. And no, I’m not just talking about the classic court shoe; the variants of this style are oh-so-many. From Givenchy to Salvatore Ferragamo, Christian Dior to Proenza Schouler, among other designers, Spring 2016 had a quite an exhibit of this tapered shoe style. There’s no denying that the pointed-toe silhouette is sleek. Not to mention, slipping into a pointed-toe heel is the easiest way to look slimmer.
While most women consider pointed-toe heels ideal for donning as work wear, celebrities, bloggers and style stars have proved otherwise with their off-duty style. Check out how super-stylish blogger Aien Jamir nails a semi-athleisure look in cropped flare pants and a sporty tee that she teams with a sheer floral bomber jacket and a pointed-toe, ankle-strap heel. Another one of my favourite fashion bloggers, Evangelie Smyrniotaki, works a monochrome look in this all-white, all-Céline ensemble that she teams with a black pair of pointed-toe heels. Again, in one of our street style posts for LFW 2016, check out how photog Jass Sagu works a relaxed vibe in a pointed-toe heel.
