Parineeti Chopra Wore A Cute Dress To The Launch Of Jabariya Jodi And The Story Behind It Is Amazing!
Parineeti Chopra is quite the goofball when it comes to style. The bubbly actress’s personal wardrobe feels like it could be straight out of a 90s college flick. As for her curated looks, she’s got her fashion game sorted. This deliciously curvy human loves to experiment with her wardrobe as much as she does with her hair which is such a departure from other actresses who have been serving up so much of the same old, same old. A recent dress from her, while looking like a usual maxi dress, has an interesting backstory to it and we are totally loving it!

Parineeti has begun her promotional junket for her latest movie Jabariya Jodi and wore a green printed number for its trailer launch.
Barring the belt, the dress is from the most wholesome brand we have come across, The Jodi Life (co-incidence on the ‘Jodi’?). While we are not particularly feeling the fit of the dress, the story behind its design is definitely worth taking a look at!

Tadaaaa, here’s presenting our Yayoi Maxi Dress, fresh from our brand new launch, #workinggirl. The print is inspired by the iconic female, Japanese artist and polka dot qween👸Yayoi Kusama. Epitomised by her repetitive dot paintings and sharp coloured bobs, she’s one of the most successful female artists today and our working girl inspiration. We are obsessed with polka dots too, as you see. This print is hand blocked printed on to our figure flattering maxi dress and comes with puffy sleeves. We can accomplish anything we set our minds to. We’re louder than ever right now. One can say we're coming into our own. We been hustlin' baby 😎 POLKA Qween and our working girl inspiration, the iconic artist, Yayoi Kusama. #jodiloves #inspiration #workinggirl #yayoikusama #art #femaleartist #dots #thefutureisfemale
Fashion enthusiasts are quite aware of the brand’s creative process. The artists behind its designs, Gauri Verma and Karuna Laungani, are always creating collections based on specific inspirations. Either it’s a trip they took or an artist they admire, these clothes always have an interesting hook to them. To use a 90-year old Japanese legend and translate it into contemporary Indian aesthetics has gotten us thoroughly impressed!
We are hoping to see a lot of Parineeti in the next few months. With the Saina Nehwal biopic and Jabariya Jodi coming out, we can only wait to see what else she and her stylist have in store. Her character, the eccentric but fun kind, will give her plenty to play with.
