Love Fashion AND Food? This Hidden Gem Is Definitely Worth A Visit!
Have you ever wandered around your neighbourhood, only to find hidden gems that lie in cosy corners of your street? Once such place is this quaint boutique cafe that is tucked away in a nook of Versova, Andheri West in Mumbai.
One Point Six is one of those stores you’ve probably glanced at while visiting the Versova Social opposite it. A cosy boutique that combines sustainable fashion with yummy fusion food, One Point Six definitely qualifies as one of those hidden gems of the city.
Let’s begin with the fashion! Whether or not you’re a fashionista, you’d love the desi-esque prints this boutique is home to. Crafted with organic fabric, the prints are quite unique and a little more offbeat than the regular retail stuff you see.
With a range of kurtis, tunics, shirt dresses, palazzos, maxi skirts, dupattas, and bags, the prints are quite eye-catching! Prior to our visit, their collection consisted of prints like moustaches and rickshaws, the current lot has birds, umbrellas, and sunglasses to name a few. Sounds interesting, right?
And since they’re all for sustainability, the leftover fabric is turned into bags and clutches. The other interesting fashion aspect of this store is the handcrafted, one-of-a-kind jewellery.
With prices starting at Rs 800, and going up to Rs 3,000, these products are pretty pocket-friendly!
Moving onto the food, the menu follows a similar theme of serving up something rather hatke. And one of the main things that caught my eye was their Quinoa Khichdi — who knew something so international, could have a fun desi twist?
Everything about this boutique cum cafe is cute! Don’t believe us? Check out this video to know more!
