Nicki Minaj Puts Her Fendi Prints On

Powerful and explosive, the latest Fendi drop in collaboration with rapper, singer, songwriter Nicki Minaj is a shout-out to her bold and frisky sense of style. The capsule collection which is deeply rooted in Fendi’s ironic and playful DNA, immediately transports you to a futuristic setting. Think shimmering surfaces and rich textures, festooned liberally with the brand’s interlocking FF logo, that find expression in elevated leisurewear styles.

The singer worked closely with Silvia Venturini Fendi to create a collection which was unmistakably her, but also a reflection of the brand’s signature bold design identity.

If you haven’t already caught a sneak peak of the Fendi Prints On Campaign preview video, where we see the artist surrounded by her gang of chic models all clad in pieces from the capsule, channeling high doses of glamour and sass, it’ll definitely make you want to get in with the tribe. She’s seen in a curve-hugging pink FF-logo dress, and they’re in silver sequined bikinis, skirts and trousers embossed with the double F logo. The capsule, centered around Minaj’s eccentric attitude and larger-than-life personality, brings alive a riot of vibrant colours and a metallic palette.

Playfully over-the-top, the ready-to-wear collection of apparel for men and women, showcases body hugging silhouettes juxtaposed with oversized puffers and coats. The same streetstyle attitude is characterized in Fendi’s accessories range, with the iconic Peekaboo and Baguette bags getting a fluo pink makeover and sequins galore.

Also in the collection are winter gloves, fuzzy-brimmed mesh-back trucker hats, metallic fanny packs and wraparound sunglasses with FF-emblazoned lenses. You can’t blame us for wanting to get our hands on these undeniably pop-artsy accessories, that are poised to be the next street-style rage.
