Zahra’s Bucket Bag Will Get Her Through Many Weekends

Zahra’s Bucket Bag Will Get Her Through Many Weekends

Let’s admit it: ALL of us have been lusting after bucket bags ever since Mansur Gavriel’s minimalist pieces became all the rage a few seasons ago. Truth be told, I even copped myself a near perfect copy from Mango two years ago, simply because I didn’t have $400 (or the courage) to spend on the original.

There’s just something fantastic about throwing your everyday essentials into an easy chic bag that you can sling on one shoulder (or even turn into a cross-body style) and walk out of home looking seriously on trend. Double-strap totes seem so 2014 in comparison, no?

My one big grouse, though? While I love how big and roomy my Mango bucket bag is, it can be a real pain to lug around over the weekend when you’re just chilling out with friends at the coffee shop or Sunday brunch. What I needed was a smaller version that forced me to ditch all the things I usually stuff into my day bag and only hold essentials like my phone, keys, wallet, and maybe a lipstick or two.

Nasty Gal Passing The Bucket Bag

So when I chanced upon this super cute (and little!) bucket bag from Nasty Gal last evening, I knew it was exactly what I wanted. Veering from the usual black, white, and nude shades, this deep red bag comes in structured vegan leather and features gold hardware, a top zip closure (very important if you want to go dancing!), top strap with gold lock closure, and a removable adjustable shoulder strap.

It’s the perfect size for my weekend needs, and goes with everything from formal dresses and heels to denim cut-offs and sneakers. Plus, you really can’t beat the serious style update it gives your ensemble at such an unbeatable price!
