One of the big ones is the animal print that is bound to be forever chic and the reason behind it is more than just about seasonal trends or fads. The style has been endorsed by multiple designers, all of whom have managed to re-invent its aesthetics many times over the years. They are also a big player in the retail space since it is ageless and can be made a strappy crop top for us and a pencil skirt for our mum, there’s no stopping it. Yet, given its popularity with designers and brands, it has managed to elude a large chunk of the population…the ones who like to keep it safe!

It is not easy to do animal print. It is the right kinda OTT when styled right and the wrong kind when clashed with other loud details. You can also feel overwhelmed with an all-over print; closely set patterns like leopard and cheetah being especially visually striking for people. Yet, one starlet managed to pull it like it’s NBD.

We think the reason it worked so well was the careful balance of fabric that the dress displays. The sheer panels on the skirt and sleeves keep them breezy; the gathered draping on top lending it a dramatic flair. They went easy on the accessories and beauty look as well; matching the her hair highlights with the outfit. With just the right amount of skin showing and attitude to act as a supporting cast, this look is such a winner in our books.
