Masaba Is The Official Designer For GoT Merchandise And We Can’t Keep Calm

If you’re a GoT fan, there’s got to be moment while you were watching that show that you wanted to wear something one of the characters was wearing, even if only at home. You know, to feel powerful and scheming. We’ve got news for you. Okay, hold your horses, it’s not going to be, we don’t have trailer or spoilers for the last and final season. But getting some of the things inspired by the show in your wardrobe? That might just happen. It’s being brought to life by ace designer – Masaba Gupta.

Known for her playful, edgy and quirky designs, hers is a  style statement with a flourish.  She is the official designer of Game of Thrones merchandise for India, UK and Indonesia that shall include a range of apparel, home décor and jewellery. She revealed this with her recent Instagram post that had us beyond excited.

Obviously, we racked our brains about what this collection would include. We are thinking of a grand Mother of Dragons inspired couture, or perhaps chalice designs from Lord Tyrion’s collection or  wait, jewellery pieces with references to Westeros? Ooh, we can’t wait.

Seems like she’s made the coming of winter for all the fans out there much more interesting and well worth the wait. My money is on seeing a lot of ivory and dry foil detail pieces with zardozi work, which she is a champion of, to reflect the style of Dorne. Or, if we are really lucky, we get a collection that flirts with faux fur for a Winterfell collection.
