Mansi’s Box Clutch Is The Perfect Blend Of Edgy + Classy
It’s that time of the year when I let go of all control over my expenses; budgets be damned. It’s my birthday month, after all! Surely a girl’s allowed some indulgence, right? I’ve been on a mission looking for the perfect dress to wear on my birthday, and the right shoes and accessories to go with it. I must admit I haven’t had much luck in any department. It’s very annoying how the most exquisite dresses, shoes, et al just come to you out of nowhere when you can’t afford to shop, but the moment you are in the mood to splurge — poof! all the good stuff just vanishes into thin air. Gah!
However, I’m not giving up just yet. I was going through Mango’s online site last afternoon with a fervent prayer on my lips when this box clutch caught my eye. I knew I had to have it for my birthday when I saw that it’s made out of wood. I’m now going to alter my shopping strategy to picking a dress and sandals to go with this box clutch. I know it’s a rather unconventional way of shopping, but I don’t care.
Being a graphic designer by profession, the first thing that appealed to me was its edgy and chunky design. I’m not that crazy about bags and I always prefer carrying smaller sling bags or cross body bags, so this clutch goes perfectly with my sensibilities. Off-late I’ve noticed a resurgence in wooden accessories and that is this clutch’s biggest USP. The neutral tones make this piece easy to pair with all kinds of outfits. I particularly like the glossy finish on this one. It gives it such a polished, sophisticated edge. So happy with this find!
