Kriti Kharbanda’s Anarkali Choli And Lehenga Set Is Perfect For A Cocktail Night
The best part about our favourite style stars being so active on Instagram is that they all have their fashion lookbooks uploaded to their feed. All the fashion girls have something unique to offer with her curation. While Deepika Padukone’s Insta is a lesson on how to make the best use of your natural features; Sonam Kapoor’s profile is a complete education on fashion designers and their signature styles. After many years of incessant scrolling and stalking these ladies, I instantly know whose page to hit u when I am looking for something specific.
My current favourite is heading over to Disha Patani’s feed in order to ‘sexy up’ my wardrobe. As for where I can source OOTD ideas for easy-to-wear, yet statement, Indian wear, I look to ladies like Aditi Rao Hydari and Kriti Kharbanda. These women seem to have cracked the code on how to do ethnic ensembles in so many ways. While Kriti does love her denim dungarees and slip dresses, it is her play with contemporary ethnic styles that I Pinterest so often!
Kriti was one of the few fashionable attendees at this year’s Lions Gold Awards. The Punjabi kudi chose a deliciously OTT custom ethnic set from Singhal’s Mu’Asir collection. The floral anarkali choli and lehenga set was paired with a chunky pearl choker and nothing else. She looks gorgeous in this print-on-print ensembles; which has become somewhat of a signature move for the designer. The outfit is perfect for a DJ and cocktail party for any shaadi guest looking to add just the right amount of detail, colours, and textures in their look. I am also falling head over heels for that embroidered dupatta, it is so light and lovely, all things I look for in a cover up!
While this custom look is great on its own, the collection features more statement looks like these and is available to shop right here!
On the work front, Kriti Kharbanda will be next seen in the Bejoy Nambiar directorial Taish alongside Pulkit Samrat and Jim Sarbh.
