Kareena Kapoor Marks 19 Years In Bollywood With A Sneak Peek Into Her Angrezi Medium Look!

By  |

I let a lot of things describe me. My writing, my dancing, on bad days my temper and on good, absolutely fun days – my love for all things Bollywood. I am the one who would quiz people on the daily about Bollywood trivia to the point they have to plug in earphones to avoid my non-stop banter. The kind who would show unapologetic traits of my favourite characters like that of Geet or Pooh, all of whom would be undoubtedly of nations’ favourite actress – Kareena Kapoor Khan.

The diva, who gave birth to iconic roles in the Hindi cinema, completed 19 fabulous years of working in the industry this Sunday, having done over 60 films in her career, most of which have either been classics or blockbusters. The Veere Di Wedding actress chose to commemorate this milestone by sharing her look in her upcoming release – Angrezi Medium, and boy are we fangirling all over her!

Looking as fierce as ever, the picture of Bebo on the sets of Angrezi Medium, that is a sequel to the Irrfan Khan hit movie Hindi Medium, shows her donning the role of a cop, in a smart front-tuck buttoned down shirt with a natural no-makeup look and a badge taped across her waist. And it can’t be only me who wants to, at least once in my life, whip out that badge and show it to someone and watch their face go from smug to scared. Kareena who has always managed to step into her characters, seemed uber confident and diva like in her snap and we can’t wait to see her in this role!

Another picture had been shared before this, where Bebo can be seen sporting a beige tank top, getting her touch ups done before her shot, yet again giving us some fashion inspo and offering a peek into her role as a cop in this upcoming comedy drama by director Homi Adajana.

The movie will star Irrfan Khan in the male lead, and also has Radhika Madan joining the cast, where she will be playing Irrfan’s daughter, alongisde actors Deepak Dobriyal and Manu Rishi who are to play Irrfan’s brother and cousin in the movie. The movie whose shoot kickstarted in Udaipur earlier this year, is currently being shot in London, and is set to hit the screens next year by April.

That seems like a forever away, but with such sneak peeks into Kareena’s look, maybe we’ll be able to weather through the long wait! And until then, we always have the option of going through some of her wonderful work over the years!
