Kareena Kapoor Khan is a star. But you knew that. And she’s fashionable and glamorous. Okay, when am I going to stop stating the obvious? Right about now. The thing is, when you have stylists at your beck and call, the ones who know what flatters you, the colours that work on you etc., it’s easy to look fabulous. But then Kareena Kapoor’s off-duty style is also so cool, we can’t help but feel inadequate. Case in point, this breezy look she put together when she got photographed returning from her London sojourn.

Let’s put this into perspective. If anyone else, anyone at all, walked out wearing something like this and with this kind of fit, they would have looked like they needed to hire a stylist asap. We would have even written an article about it. She’s wearing pants that are big and, well, baggy. She’s paired it with a denim shirt that’s also flowy. She added a horizontal striped top.

By all fashion rules, this should not work. Baggy jeans with a not-so-form-hugging shirt, nope. And everyone knows horizontal stripes make people look wider. But despite these things, this look works. And we are willing to bet our last extra button, that it’s because this is Kareena Kapoor Khan. At this point, if you put her in a potato sack, she will still look good.

She paired this with a casual pair of sunglasses and our theory is that she is wearing them on a cloudy day in Mumbai either because she ran out of concealer or because all the camera flashes really get to her. Her white sneakers finished off this look.
