Kangana Ranaut Looks Like Audrey Hepburn In A Saree At Cannes 2018
The Cannes Film Festival 2018 is on in full swing, and lot of Bollywood divas will be in attendance. Yesterday, Huma Qureshi attended the film festival in an ivory Varun Bhal ensemble; this was her debut at Cannes. Also making her debut at Cannes was Kangana Ranaut, who was out and about the festival looking like a desi Audrey Hepburn.
Kangana Ranaut looked resplendent in an ultra-glamorous black Sabyasachi saree from his Spring-Summer 2018 collection. The saree is hand-dyed and embellished with hand-cut sequins that are individually sewn using the zardozi technique, to create a metallic, yet fluid fabric. She paired the saree with a black strappy blouse.
Her look is accessorised with a Sabyasachi batua choker style necklace. The necklace was made of strands of basra pearls along with diamonds and emeralds at the centre. The necklace too is from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery Collection. She added a flapper style fringed potli bag, giving the look a vintage vibe.
She kept the beauty look retro with her hair worn in a bouffant style faux bob, along with a classic bold winged liner and nude lips.
For an event like the Cannes, most people go for an elaborate gown or international designers. Kangana, however, is in a league of her own, and nailed the Sabyasachi saree with much grace and panache. We love the look from head to toe.
