It is common practice for actresses to mould their fashion according to the film they are promoting. Often, their outfits are an extention of the character they are playing. Alia Batt wore a string of anarkali suits while promoting Kalank and more recently we saw Katrina Kaif spend her Bharat tour in gorgeous, chiffon sarees. Seeing that that is the norm, we are making an educated guess that Kangana’s choice of outfits are keeping in line with her character from Judgemental Hai Kya. For a recent press event and song launch, Kangana chose to wear a semi-sheer Ermanno Scervino organza dress with a sleek snake print.

While the see-through outfit is quite sexy in itself, we love how Kangana accessorised it with a garter and stockings from Agent Provocateur, a lingerie brand NOT meant for the weak-hearted. She completed the look with bedazzled Dolce & Gabbana shoes, a brand we hope celebrities can stop wearing already (read: D&G racism contoversy)!. The outfit was originally paired with lace slip in order to cover any peek-a-boo moment. Kangana though gave the slip a miss and put the sexy garter on strategic display and that’s quite ballsy!

Judging by the trailer, which left us confused, the movie does not intend to play by the rules. Whether it is with the story or traditional film making. Are we right to guess that Kangana’s character, on top of being delightfully outrageous, is sexually provocative as well? Only time will tell!

No matter how right our predictions turn out to be, we are loving this new look on Kangana. The actress has always pretty bold with her fashion choices, but this is something new even from her. Bondage-inspired dresses to teasing garter and stockings? She’s sending the mercury soaring!
Given that the movie has a female writer who has previously written for women in their most unabashed self, we won’t be surprised. We sincerely hope we get to see her in other provocative ensembles… both clothes and accessories. Maybe a simmering hot corset?
