Kajol Devgan Is Worried About Her Outfit’s Train In The Rain. But There’s So Much Else That’s Not Working In This Outfit!

Bollywood does not care about Mumbai rains! Our fashion girls have not given even a single hint of editing their wardrobes to make them more rain-friendly. While us mere mortals are spending our days in jelly shoes and ripped shorts, celebs have been ‘showering’ the scene with elaborate fabrics and styles. Now that’s livin’ big and we are envious!

For a recent event, we spotted Kajol Devgan taking the ‘devil may care’ attitude to a new high in her Mala & Kinnary pantsuit. The seafoam green silk taffeta pantsuit came with french chiffon flared train. A train! The outfit also featured pretty coral inspired 3-D hand embroidery on the shoulders.

Kajol shared the outfit on her Instagram page with a caption, “All dressed up and all I can think of is what will happen to this train in the rain …..! I’m rhyming .. things are bad ?”. We so agree! That chiffon train is a hazard in the pouring rain…it runs the risk of looking unfabulous on Kajol, which might just be the ultimate sin! We are also not loving the fit of the pantsuit on her, it looks cinched in the wrong places. The colour isn’t doing much for her, the blazer hugging her torso and then abandoning it, and  we think the outfit entirely fails in complementing her delicious curves.

The actress seemed visibly uncomfortable in the ill-fitting suit. We can only imagine the frame she might have had to maintain to avoid creases on that suit. Taffetta silk is notorious for doing bad with humidity. The blazer could have done with a second fitting session. There’s nothing worse than having to sit in a restrictive top for hours. And that gap in the boob area, we have all had to deal with it, but then we don’t get all our clothes custom-fitted. We do love the dainty stacked rings on her though!

Stylist Mohit Rai, who styled this look as well, is ace at finding the chicest pantsuits in the business. The many smart pieces both Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi have worn are proof of that. We hope the next pantsuit moment for Kajol is a bit better than this because that woman can pull off a pantsuit like a pro. We want to see Kajol decked out in the fashionable separates and be her sassy self like she does here:
