Jacqueline Fernandez Shows You How To Work Monochrome
When someone tells you black and white is boring, you show them a picture of Jacqueline Fernandez (above) and say it to their face: Who needs colour when you can look this chic in monochrome? Frankly, if there’s one actress who can stand out wearing even the most basic pieces, it’s Jacqueline. Chic when teaming an understated ensemble and on-point when glamming it up, that’s what defines Jacqueline’s style archives. And this time around, we saw the actress put her best fashion foot forward while promoting her upcoming movie Housefull 3.
Styled by Tanya Ghavri, Jacqueline was spotted in an Andrew GN outfit. Wearing a white blouse with crisscross front detail and a black asymmetrical skirt with a decorative grosgrain bow, the actress worked monochrome in a sophisticated manner. She teamed it up with block heel slingbacks by Paul Andrew and accessories by Dior. What I like about the ensemble is its demure yet playful vibe; that feminine blouse with the slightly flared sleeves teamed with the cut-and-sewn detailing of the asymmetrical skirt. Work a summer bomber jacket in black to add just the right amount of edge to this look for a fun and fashionable day look.
All you budget fashionistas be happy now because I’ve curated a similar look for you. Though I couldn’t find a crisscross-detailed blouse in white, I’ve got a V-neck, long-sleeved one from Zara that I’ve teamed with a wrap skirt from Mango. If you’re lucky to scout for a wrap skirt with a waist tie fastening, you could wear it such that it gives you an asymmetric pattern. Team it up with a pair of chic block heels and there, you’ve accomplished yet another stylish feat with a little help from me.
