How To Wear Burgundy Like A Celebrity

By  |

If there’s a colour that can make you look instantly chic, it’s burgundy. The warm shade can be worn both by day and at night, and it doesn’t need a particular season to look good. It’s a colour that works all year round, in as many styles as you can imagine, and flatters pretty much every body type.

This obviously means celebrities love it. Only last week, 3 Kardashians landed up at the same meeting in shades of burgundy, take a look…

So since the colour is obviously a fashionista favourite, here are a few ways to wear it like a total celebrity.

It’s generally a super glamorous shade, but that doesn’t mean you can’t wear it to the airport or while running errands. Do it like Deepika Padukone and wear your athletic burgundy with blush pink and sneakers to match.

The award show-appropriate colour can be as blinged out as you like it to be, and still look classy AF. Wear it to a cocktail party or even a wedding reception. You might just upstage the bride, that’s just how good the colour looks.

Burgundy separates put together are just divine. Do it like Jacqueline and wear the same shade of burgundy all at once. You could either do that, or just wear a jumpsuit in the colour. P.S. Don’t forget a choker to match!

You’ve got to admit, it makes for an extremely elegant office party look. Don’t save the colour for Christmas, it was made to be shown off, any chance you get!

Keeping it all in the same tone family is always a good idea and celebrity stylist Monica Rose’s favourite trick. You can do it with burgundy and red separates and look like million bucks.

And for a slightly less formal look, there’s always burgundy culottes like Athiya Shetty’s!
