I know how upsetting it can get when you pull out one of your favourite leather shoes from the shoe closet and notice scuff marks on them. I consider this another reason for a heartbreak! Shoe lover or not, finding perfect shoes that have a special place in your heart usually makes it to most girl’s shopping checklist. So, finding a scuff mark on a particular shoe does not only mean not being able to wear them anymore. It also leads to seeking out a similar pair that’s probably going to fill the void in your shoe closet.

But not anymore! Thanks to all the research I’ve put in, I’ve figured out that fixing a scuff, especially from a patent leather shoe, is as easy as it gets. Here’s what you need to do. Dab some petroleum jelly on the scuff mark that is visible on the leather shoe. You need to put enough jelly so as to cover the mark entirely. Now, use a cotton bud or a soft cloth and buff gently. Keep repeating this till the mark disappears. If you think you need to restore the shine on your shoe, gently clean it using glass cleaner. Now that’s pretty easy, ain’t it?
