Because let’s be honest, vintage never loses its charm. Which is why celebrity stylists usually make it a point to give a retro twist to their client’s ensembles. The recent one to cop a retro-inspired look is Parineeti Chopra. And we must say, it’s darn cute!
Occasion? Filmfare editor Jitesh Pillai’s birthday bash that happened this week, where the entire film fraternity made a stopover. We saw some stunning looks from our A-listers — a pantsuit variation by Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor was among the noted looks, wherein the former took to a shimmer one by Rajesh Pratap while Ms. Kapoor preferred a formal striped Saint Laurent enemble. But if I had to pinpoint one of the more relatable looks from that evening, it has got to be Parineeti’s casual-retro one in a heart-print crop top and flared jeans. She accessorised with just a watch, and even her makeup was as basic as it could get (I like that rosy pink pout going on there).
I have to mention that I love how stylist Sanjana Batra has been doling out some fresh looks for the actress. I tried to identify the brands Parineeti has worn for this particular look, but couldn’t.
