Art Meets Fashion At The New Diesel + Art Showcase

As part of its very first Diesel + Art initiative, Italian label Diesel hosted a projection photography exhibit by celebrity lensman Rohan Shrestha at its sprawling store in Juhu, Mumbai. This non-profit initiative is a unique global property that celebrates art as an important facet of fashion by showcasing the works of bright young talent at the intersection of both these industries. Shrestha is one of India’s hottest young photographers, and his debut solo exhibition is inspired by his travels to Japan. Title Hanami, the stunning exhibit is a collection of 18 images curated by Ambika Hinduja Macker. A portion of the proceeds from the exhibition — on at the store till February 21 — will go to Ummeed, a charitable organisation that works with disabled children.
